CCTV / Vault Checkpoint
Draft – not yet verified in-gamePlaying soloJust you and random teammates — a simple plan
Get above the bomb room and make holes in the floor so you can shoot enemies below.
Your gadget: Skeleton Key (underbarrel shotgun). Underbarrel shotgun for soft breaching walls and floors from range.
- Go this way: Yellow Stairs → Construction
- Send your drone here: Drone Vault, Checkpoint and Keys
- Danger — an enemy often holds here: Keys / Checkpoint anchor
- Open the floor or hatch here: 1F Bathroom hatch drops into Weapons, next to CCTV
- Plant the defuser here: Checkpoint, on the Vault side
Red A/B circles are the two bomb spots. Numbers on the map match this list. Positions are drawn on Ubisoft's official blueprint and are approximate.
- Don’t stand on top of the hole you make — enemies can shoot up at you.
- Don’t make lots of holes. A few good ones are enough.
- Playing with strangers? Ping (mark) enemies and walls so your team knows.
Playing with a teamFull plan: every role, drones, breach, plant and what to do if it goes wrong
Hit CCTV from 1F.
Team goal: Take Construction, open the reinforced Vault wall and plant Checkpoint, with a second player pinching through Server and one playing the 1F hatches.
Vertical / soft breach (your main job)
On 1F, open the Bathroom hatch (drops into Weapons, beside CCTV) and the Pink hatch in Poker (drops into Dropper, beside Screens). Shoot down while the team breaches.
With Skeleton Key (underbarrel shotgun): Take the floor above the site, then use the Skeleton Key to open the marked soft floor: make a few focused holes that show the anchors and the plant area, not the whole ceiling.
Anti-gadget (if the team needs it)
From Construction, clear Bandit / Kaid / Mute on the Vault wall. Then clear cameras or a Maestro watching Checkpoint.
With Skeleton Key (underbarrel shotgun): Shoot the defender gadgets you can see through the floor holes (shields, cameras, Mute jammers) before the team enters.
Spawn & approach
Crane or Ruins side for the Yellow Stairs and Construction. Façade side for the Lockers Stairs player.
- Enter 1F on the Crane / Ruins side and take the Yellow Stairs down into Construction.
- Send one player down the Lockers Stairs (Façade side) to clear Lockers and Server — the defenders' rotate room.
- Keep one player on 1F to open the Bathroom hatch over CCTV and to cut rotations from Poker and Bar.
Drone checklist
- Vault and Checkpoint — anchors usually hide in Keys or behind the Checkpoint desk.
- Default and 30, where a defender can shoot the Vault breach from the side.
- Server, the link between CCTV and Checkpoint.
- Yellow Stairs and Construction early — a roamer often sits there to waste your time.
Team map
- Move: Yellow Stairs → Construction
- Drone: Drone Vault, Checkpoint and Keys
- Enemy likely: Keys / Checkpoint anchor
- Vertical: 1F Bathroom hatch drops into Weapons, next to CCTV
- Vertical: 1F Pink hatch drops into Dropper, next to Screens
- Hard breach: Vault wall — breach it from Construction
- Move: Lockers Stairs → Lockers → Server
- Move: Green Stairs → Break → Cash (CCTV side)
- Enemy likely: Server rotator
- Move: Push through Vault into Checkpoint
- Plant: Checkpoint, on the Vault side
- Hold: Construction, watching the breach
- Hold: 30, watching Default
- Hold: Yellow Stairs (flank from 1F)
- Hard breach: CCTV wall — backup breach from Cash
- Hard breach: Default wall — open from 30 for a second angle
Red A/B circles are the two bomb spots. Numbers on the map match this list. Positions are drawn on Ubisoft's official blueprint and are approximate.
Team execute
- Three players come down the Yellow Stairs into Construction. One player takes the Lockers Stairs from the Façade side to check Lockers and Server.
- Drone Vault, Checkpoint, Keys and Default. Find the anchor before anyone breaches.
- The anti-gadget player clears the Vault wall from Construction; the hard breacher opens it.
- Push Vault from the breach while the Server player pinches from the north and a fifth player plays Default from 30.
- Plant Checkpoint and spread to Construction, Vault and 30.
Plant
Plant Vault Checkpoint once the Vault is open, deep in Checkpoint on the Vault side, so players in Vault and Construction both see the defuser. CCTV is the backup plant: open it from Cash and plant it while a teammate plays the 1F Bathroom hatch next door.
Post-plant positions
- Construction, looking back through the Vault breach
- Vault, holding the Checkpoint door
- 30 / Exit, watching the Default side
- Yellow Stairs (flank from 1F)
Pitfalls
- Opening so much floor that defenders below get easy vertical angles on you.
- Playing vertical alone with no one covering the stairs behind you.
- Standing on an open hatch with a defender under it.
- Throwing your utility before the breacher is on the wall.
- Pushing the Yellow Stairs with five and ignoring Server — defenders rotate through it.
- Breaching the Vault without knowing where the Checkpoint anchor is.
- Leaving the 1F hatches alone: defenders upstairs can also shoot down on your CCTV plant.
If defenders…
- If the Vault wall stays denied, switch to CCTV: open the Cash wall from the Green Stairs side and plant it with the Bathroom hatch open.
- If Default is heavily held, open its reinforced wall from 30 instead and push Keys.
- If Server is empty, bring a second player through Lockers and hit the Vault from the north.
