The short version
There are no third-party trackers, no advertising scripts and no analytics vendor. Reading the site anonymously stores nothing about you at all, which is also why there is no cookie banner.
If you create an account
- Your email address — it is the account, and it is how sign-in links and receipts reach you.
- Your quiz progress — which callouts you have been asked and how they went.
- Your settings and any setups you save.
- A session record — when you signed in, the browser string, and a one-way hash of your IP address. The hash exists to spot abuse; the address itself is not stored.
Product analytics
Coarse, first-party events are recorded — "a quiz started", "a signup happened" — with no IP, no user agent and no cross-site identifier. They are deleted after 180 days.
Payments
Card details never reach this site. Polar processes payments and holds the billing record; we store only your Polar customer id and which plan you are on.
Transactional email is sent through Resend and cannot be switched off while you have an account: sign-in links, the welcome message, receipts and subscription notices. The three onboarding emails that follow, and the "your access ends soon" reminder, can be switched off in Settings.
Retention
Error logs are kept 30 days, analytics 180 days, payment records 90 days, and backups 30 days. Account data is kept until you delete the account.
Your data
Settings → Export downloads everything held about you as JSON. Settings → Delete account removes all of it immediately and irreversibly; deleted data disappears from backups within 30 days.
